To Put It Into Words . . .

Ugh. This venue. Is. Just. Magical. Everything about it from the grounds, to the porch, to the reception, even the barn is so beautiful and charming. If you love being outside this venue is for you. If you have guests that aren’t huge dancers but would enjoy sitting by a fire or hanging out on the porch listening to the DJ, this venue is for you. If you have dance crazy guests there is more than enough space for them to let loose. If you have guests that like to wander and explore there is lots of space for that too! You will make every one of your guests happy here. And as for the couple. Working with Lisa, and the owners of the venue was an absolute delight. They are patient and understanding. Taylor will help you keep it together before the wedding and Lisa is all hands on deck the day of. Lisa is utterly incredible. I think I personally hugged her at least 5 times the night of our wedding. This venue is absolutely stunning and so are the people who help make your wedding dreams a reality.

We are full-time wedding photographers, and we had the pleasure of photographing a wedding at Wood Acres Farm on a beautiful fall day. It’s a tremendous mix of being a venue yet feeling like you’re on the farm complete with the barn, pond, and horses. Getting a horse-drawn carriage ride on your wedding day is exceptional and a dream come true for many, no doubt. The little details like the hanging lights on the porch and cute stage space for the sweetheart table add a lot to the atmosphere, too. The staff was continually helpful, attentive, and caring. All of the guests seemed to have a sensational time! We hope to be back in the future to photograph more memorable weddings.

I can’t say enough about this venue. First off the grounds are absolutely gorgeous, all the staff are amazing, Lisa, Joyce, Taylor, Ken, they were so helpful from start to finish. What sold me what the horse and carriage ride for the Bride to the alter!! I need to give a special shoutout to Lisa, she coordinated the whole wedding the day off and I can’t even begin to put in words… WE WOULD NOT HAVE SURVIVED WITHOUT HER! From bustling my dress, to tying my husbands tie, to putting the boutonnières on, to helping clean up, guiding us where we need to be and when, getting drinks.. I could go on and on! You don’t realize how much goes on behind the scenes and she KILLED IT!!! 10/10 recommend!!

Wood Acres was a dream! The staff was insanely sweet and considerate! The venue was absolutely GORGEOUS, they helped in every possible way and coordinated beautifully, amazing venue ❤️

As a wedding photographer, I see it all. The good, the bad, and the ugly. Shooting a wedding at Wood Acres Farm this past Sunday, I was witness to some of the most impressive and professional venue management/day-of coordination I've seen in my 7 years in business. Long story short, the day of coordinator, Lisa, was on her third full wedding of the weekend and had not gotten much sleep three nights running. She had an early start that day to boot. And to top it off, rain was threatening to change the ceremony plans all day, but the final decision wasn't reached until literally 15 minutes before the ceremony was scheduled to start: the couple chose to move inside. I watched her handle the whole thing with grace, speed, and kindness. It is no small feat to move a ceremony from one location to another in such a short amount of time, but she managed so many moving parts and so many different people and she pulled it off with a smile on her face. It was a pleasure (actually, it was a joy) working with her. She made everyone there feel like a team, and she kept everyone informed the entire day. She even prioritized vendor meals, which is highly unusual in the best of times. I cannot wait to work there again and I'm so grateful for all of her hard work that day. It helped us all do our best work, which helps ensure the couple had the best experience possible.

We cannot say enough about Wood Acres Farm, they were absolutely amazing! Joyce and her team really make you feel like part of the family. Joyce and Lisa were there every step of the way on our big day making sure we were taken care of. They were very quick with responding to all our emails and questions along the way. The venue is absolutely gorgeous all the way from the scenery to the antique decorations sprinkled around the venue. On our rehearsal night we got to experience seeing the Aurora Borealis perfectly by the camp fire! Wood Acres Farm was the first and only venue my now husband and I looked at and we were sold right then and there. We knew this was where we wanted to get married! It was an unforgettable night and we are so lucky to have been able to create these great memories on the farm!

Jack and I could not be happier that our wedding was at Wood Acres Farm! Joyce, Lisa, and Taylor go above and beyond to make your wedding day so special and every day leading up to it. Any questions I had along the way, they were there to answer every single one. Even with a little rain on our wedding day, the Wood Acres Team went above and beyond to make the day as special as it could be. It was the best day of our lives!

We had an amazing wedding! Joyce, Taylor, and Lisa literally treated us like royalty. They took care of everything from the smallest detail to the largest and everything in between. We couldn’t have asked for anything more. If you’re looking for a farmy, but elegant wedding, look no further than Wood Acres. I could not recommend them enough. You will have an unbelievable experience from the carriage ride to the scenery. It was PERFECT!

From the start we fell in love with the venue. Everything was gorgeous from the entrance to the cottage to the ceremony site on the deck to the indoor/outdoor reception. And we can’t say enough about the staff! Their professionalism and attention to detail was top notch. They treated us not like we were just another couple passing through but like we were family. We will forever treasure Wood Acres Farm and the staff!

Everything about our wedding at Wood Acres was perfect!! From our very first tour we knew immediately that this was the venue for us. The staff is incredibly attentive and friendly and you feel like a part of the family. I couldn't imagine having our wedding anywhere else. I even worried early on that hiring outside caterers and bar tenders would be more annoying but their preferred vendor list is extensive and so fantastic, it was like they came with the venue! We heard all night from our guests that it was the best wedding they'd ever been to!!

We had the best wedding ever with Wood Acres Farm!!! The team they have is highly professional and will go out of their way to make sure your day is special. They are extremely helpful and knowledgeable. The grounds are beautiful and they have multiple options for ceremony sites. We couldn’t have asked for a better venue and all our guests talked about how much they enjoyed the venue and how beautiful everything was. Additionally, being taken to your wedding in a horse and carriage is one of the most magical experiences you could have as a bride. We loved everyone there and would highly recommend Wood Acres to anyone looking for a wedding venue.
