Wood Acres Farm would be delighted to enhance
your upcoming event with one or more of our elegant
horse drawn carriages, wagons, sleighs and
'one of kind' Horse Drawn Trolley and Surrey.
Special Lighting;
All our vehicles are equipped
with front and rear lights for safety.
Our
magnificent horses are trained to stand
patiently for pictures and while loading and unloading passengers. Although
they are accustomed to traveling alongside traffic, we prefer to keep off
busy/winding
roads.
Sanitation is no problem; Discreet black bags are attached to their harness under
their tails.
Our
horses are attractive and well cared for. They are familiar with, but not limited to:
Drums ~ horns ~ church bells
~ sirens

Elegant Horse Drawn White Carriages
 We
provide beautiful horse drawn carriages which are uniquely designed like a
convertible. On a clear day, they can be enjoyed completely open for total
visibility.
As temperatures
rise, so can the tops to
shade passengers.
In case of inclement weather, we fully enclose them with clear side curtains.
Special lamps add a touch of ambiance,
for an evening event.
Generally
one horse is used on a carriage.

Rockcats through Bristol's, CT's Children's Holiday Parade.

Most likely our strongest horses, Ma Sunday and Ethan. Great for a shuttle or unique tour

Horse Drawn Surrey
This
'one of a kind' horse drawn vehicle was built in Poland and is a classic! It
has a beautiful bronze color, with elegant gold fringe around the top.
It will seat 8 and the actual
seats tend to be a bit higher than our other vehicles. On level ground, it
may be pulled by one horse. Great for parades!
This carriage is sure to get the attention you are hoping for!

This
attractive 10-12 passenger Horse Drawn Wagonette is ideal for just about
any occasion. It is generally pulled by one horse when the route to travel
is all level. It may also be pulled by a team of horses.
It has a deep red exterior, with black vinyl seats and trim to match our
magnificent horses and shinny harness.
It has a
low rear step entry, with convenient easy to grip handles. Ideal for
seniors.
On the left,
Ma Sunday is shown transporting a party of teenagers during a Quincenera
Celebration in New Haven. Above, one of our Percherons Mickey, is proud to
be giving rides to Rudolf, Frosty and all the excited children at one of the
many annual Winter Events we do in East Hartford, CT.

Our Kid's Party
Wagon is a fun, festive hay-filled wagon, stenciled with stars and
balloons. It is ideal for any event where there are children involved! It
comfortably seats 10 happy (not sad) children and 2 (fun loving) adults.
'Most of the time' this wagon is pulled by just one draft horse.

Although this 12
passenger wagon is hay-filled, it also has a bench seat to make it easier on
Gramma or Mrs. Claus! It can be pulled by a single horse (above left by Ma
Sunday) or by a team (above right by Ma Sunday & Mickey). This wagon is
perfect for parades, festivals and corporate events. |
Our Largest
Horse Drawn Haywagon is designed to accommodate large groups/events. It is
always pulled by a team (two) draft horses and comfortably seats up to 25
passengers in the hay.
In the case of inclement weather, a canopy can be attached (when
prearranged, for an additional fee). |
